Vice President and General Manager, META, Honeywell Building Automation
Nabil Cheqroun was appointed Vice President and General Manager for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region at Honeywell Building Automation in June 2025. In this role, he is responsible for driving transformation, accelerating growth and overseeing business operations across the region.
Prior to this appointment, Nabil served as chief commercial officer for Building Automation in META, where he played a pivotal role in shaping strategic growth plans and expanding the business footprint. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and general management, he has led landmark projects across the energy, transportation, and building sectors—bringing strong commercial acumen and impactful leadership to the organization.
Nabil joined Honeywell from GE as General Manager of HBS Projects for META. During his tenure, he led a significant transformation of the region’s projects business, enhancing performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
He holds a doctorate in energy transition from École des Ponts Business School in Paris, an electrical engineering degree from CESI Paris School of Engineering, and a Specialized Master’s in Project and Program Management from SKEMA Business School. Nabil has lived in nine countries, is married with three children and is actively involved in charitable initiatives that support local communities.
